Let's say you want to start a project and collaborate online. You don't want a heavy overhead of meetings and management. You want to execute and focus on the tasks.

One approach is to ask for volunteers to do the administrivia. Another is to hire. Or just do it yourself. But really you just want to set a direction and focus on the work and collaboration.

We haven't fully utilized software to collaborate.

Let's understand a solution.

First we need to capture tasks and todos. This can be done with cards. They are the atomic unit of action. Cards are specified using ATProto lexicons. Statmeet is fully integrated into the ATmosphere.

Then the cards need to be aggregated and unified into a whole. Decks do this. They are simply collections of cards. Decks can also be ATProto feeds, so that card updates can be federated and shared. No further abstractions on top of that.

Then you need a way of capturing action. Workflows do this for you. They use a simple markup to describe state and transitions.

For governance there is a system of voting. Don't want to vote? No problem, you can delegate your votes to someone else in your group.

Doing is the antidote to doom.
