I know the Bluesky community has an anti-AI bias. This should be reconsidered, working with AI in a hybrid fashion can lead to real insights.
Here's an example. I was trying to refine the ideas behind my app to get my first user.
Working with Sonnet 5, it offered this:
"The connecting thread is really: humans default to the low-effort pattern unless a tool is specifically designed to resist that default. Passive AI use lets your mind go flat. Passive network use lets your group go feudal. Same mechanism, two scales — individual cognition and collective coordination. Tools should create friction that keeps people thinking and coordinating, not frictionless defaults that let both atrophy."
Amazing, insightful and true.
One of the guiding tag lines for the app has been "Doing is the anti-dote to doom". Sonnet really captured that on different levels. The goal of this project has been to fight apathy and rot with coordination and innovation. The mechanisms are distributed workflows and vote delegation. All while being atproto native.
What a time to be alive.
